Wanted: People Who Love 10-13 Year Olds (and/or Teens) And Understand Leadership

Koach Application

Koaches are adults or older teens who facilitate teams of 4-6 leaders under the leadership of the Certified Trainer.  Training includes a manual and 2-3 hours of pre-training prior to on-the-job learning to be an effective leadership coach using KidLead training techniques.

The effectiveness of KidLead is based on three fundamentals:

  1. Curriculum designed with active learning methods and content that focuses on leadership character and competencies
  2. Kids with leadership aptitude who are working together in teams, interacting with and learning from each other
  3. KidLead Trainers and Koaches who both love and relate to 10-13 year olds (or teens if using LeadNow) as well as understanding leadership.  If you fit the latter, we’d like you to consider being a part of the KidLead revolution, to develop leaders when they’re moldable. Although only certified trainers are licensed to use the KidLead curricula (LeadNow & LeadWell), Koaches are typically volunteers who serve as small group leaders. Each trainer is responsible for Koach recruitment and training. Our goal is to have at least 1 Koach per 4-6 Leaders.  If you’d like to be considered as a KidLead Koach, please fill out the following application and either give it to the Certified Trainer sponsoring you or send it to the KidLead offices where we will provide a background check and if possible, connect you with a trainer near you.
