KidLead

KidLead is looking for high caliber, energetic people who are leaders and who enjoy working with 10-13 and/or 14-18 year olds, using LeadYoung Training Systems curriculum.  The best candidates are already connected with a school, faith community or civic group, where they can use these executive caliber training materials.  Our certification process provides appropriate candidates with the skills and resources they'll need to run their own training program. (If you're interested in being trained to use LeadWell teen leadership curriculum only, please complete this form, but denote that when requested below.) 

The fee for full certification is $800 per person, which includes all the curriculum upon completion of the training, as well as ongoing coaching. This licenses the Trainer to use both LeadNow and LeadWell curricula. Those working with non-profit organizations receive a 25% scholarship. LeadWell-only users pay $200, but only have license access to LeadWell curriculum.  (There is no discount available for LeadWell Trainers.)

If you cannot use this online application, contact our offices so we can e-mail a form that you can submit by mail or fax.  We also need a 5-minute video, showing your presentation skills, since this is an important part of the certified trainer's role.  You can also upload it to YouTube or similar internet viewing source.  If so, send us the location code.  If mailed, the dvd will not be returned, so please only send a copy of it.

Upon acceptance, you will be notified and then you can submit a $200 fee/deposit and signed pre-agreement in order to receive your training materials and reserve your place for certification training.  Feel free to contact us if you have questions.

Then we’ll contact you within 10 days to let you know if your application has been accepted and what the next steps will be for you to receive training. Certification is not automatic, but will be determined after the training takes place. Those who go through training but do not receive certification may receive a refund based on training expenses incurred. The aim of KidLead is to certify people who will be effective.
